Framework for Comparing Asset Management Qualifications and Certifications

Over the last 20 years, GFMAM member societies have developed various training programs, certification schemes, qualifications and member designations in the field of Maintenance and Asset Management. This project will develop a framework to allow these to be compared in terms of the required knowledge, understanding and experience so practitioners can make informed choices about which training programs, certification schemes, qualifications or member designations are right for them or their organizations. The framework will also provide the basis for recognizing equivalence across different GFMAM member societies.
